Advent Day 20: The Ten Least Successful Holiday Specials of All Time

For a little Christmas humor, check out John Scalzi's Ten Least Successful Holiday Specials of All Time at National Lampoon. From classics like "The Mercury Theater of the Air Presents
The Assassination of Saint Nicholas (1939)" to "The Village People in Can't Stop the Christmas Music—On Ice! (1980)", at least one of the entries should make you chuckle.

If that's too snarky for you, you can read two of Scalzi's Christmas short stories.
The first of these is a poem called "Jackie Jones and Melrose Mandy," in which a spoiled little girl learns there's more to life than getting everything you want, and the second is "Sarah's Sister," which is a Christmas story I wrote pretty much to get my mother-in-law to bawl like a baby (it worked)
