Countdown to Halloween: October 28 - A Chic Halloween

Halloween isn't just for kids. It's also for grown ups who are kids at heart. Here are some suggestions for a chic adult Halloween.

• Make one of these costumes suggested by Project Runway designers.
• For a spooky beverage, make yourself (and your guests) a Bloody Eyeball Martini. The eyeball is a large partially peeled radish with a small pimento-stuffed green olive inside. If hard liquor isn't your thing, try some Vampire Wine instead.
• For your party, follow the suggestions of comedian and fabulous party-thrower Amy Sedaris for a fun Halloween dinner party and movie night. Epicurious has other tips for a sophisticated Halloween party.

Of course I'll be happily munching on mini-Snickers and drinking beer, so I won't be able to comment on how well the directions work. They look stylish, anyway.
