One message I wish people would take to heart is that we are all more similar than we are different, we have one home, and ultimately we're all in this together.
January 6 Bloganuary Prompt:“If you had a freeway billboard, what would it say?”
People need to work together to make the Earth stay fit to live on, to prevent diseases from spreading, to get people housed and fed.
Or, as the tender-hearted millionaire Elliot Rosewater in Kurt Vonnegut's God Bless You. Mr. Rosewater put it:
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”
Of course that's a bit much for a billboard, and "We're all in this together"
is a bit more pithy.
And truly I think the nicest thing would be to take down the billboard
completely. Who wants to see that when they're driving?

Microsoft Designer. It came
out more ominous-looking than I intended.
