To live long and prosper

I want to visit the future. 

January 8 Bloganuary prompt: What are your thoughts on the concept of living a very long life?

I want to be able to see the world.

I want to interact with people younger (and older) than me. 

I don't want to be bedridden or live in pain.

And I want to live in a system where growing old doesn't mean scrambling to pay the bills.

I want to both live long and prosper.

(As a side note, this is a really interesting article about how the Star Trek Vulcan "Live long and prosper" gesture was suggested by Leonard Nimoy, drawn from his own Jewish heritage)
