East of the Web is a British web site that publishes short stories online. Some are new submissions, and some are classics by authors such as Ambrose Bierce, Mark Twain, Arthur Conan Doyle, O. Henry,and many others.
The shorts are great, but what really sucks me in are the word games. My favorite is eight letters in search of a word. As far as I can figure, though, the people that get high scores cheat - that's the only explanation.
