Advent Day 22: Vintage Santas

For that old-fashioned Christmas feeling today's Advent goodies are vintage Santa cards.

Penny Postcards has a nice selection of old postcards you can send as ecards, with Santas and smiling children (also a very strange looking snowman).

• The Antique & Collectible Postcards section of About.com has a nice selection vintage Christmas ecards (actually e-card replicas of vintage Christmas cards, but you knew that). Some of the music choices are unusual (The Beetlejuice Theme?), but the cards look nice.

There are also some sites with old cards that don't offer an ecard mailing service.

• Peacay's BibliOdessy has a couple of cute Glædelig Jul cards with elves (or other small people).

• The New York Public Library has a huge collection of old Christmas cards in its digital gallery.

Maziaka.com has what appear to be Santas on rockets, but are actually old Soviet "Happy New Year" cards showing Dyet Moro (Grandfather Frost).
