Get your veggies abroad

Are you traveling in Europe and worried that you'll get brussel sprouts instead of carrots with your next meal? Are you hesitating to order the special because the main dish includes Blumenkohl or arakas? Worry no longer. Just use this handy table to compare vegetable names in English, French, German, Greek and other European languages.

Note that the table uses British English, so some of the items aren't part of the usual American diet (at least mine), such as cornsalad and cardoon. (Don't ask, I don't know what those are).
