Feeding America

Michigan State University has placed a database of "influential and important American cookbooks from the late 18th to early 20th century" online in a database called Feeding America.

You can search by author, title, recipe name or ingredients, and there is a glossary of historical cooking terms.

Lots of cool stuff, from the The Boston Cooking School Book by Fannie Farmer to La Cuisine Creole. Who knew that Queen Victoria had a favorite soup? (text version).
